It's official

I start basic training on June 12. And from what I’ve learned about time, that really isn’t that far off. Tech school, which starts right after boot camp, is roughly 4 months, so I’ll be on the mainland for about 6 months. 6 months of being away, then off to a brighter future. Hear that, babe? Away. Never gone.
