It's official
I start basic training on June 12. And from what I’ve learned about time, that really isn’t that far off. Tech school, which starts right after boot camp, is roughly 4 months, so I’ll be on the mainland for about 6 months.
6 months of being away, then off to a brighter future.

I’m joining the military. Air Force Reserves, to be exact. I’ve already started the process and am taking the ASVAB on Wednesday. It’s the best bang for the buck when it comes to life, so to speak.
